What is Option Hope?
The Option Hope Initiative is a FREE adoption education curriculum for high school students in Louisiana.
Required Education
The Option Hope curriculum meets every mandate required by Louisiana Revised Statute 17:263 for adoption education. It is aligned with GLEs for Health Education in high schools and is approved by the State Department of Education

Why should my school implement Option Hope?
Louisiana law requires adoption education (RS 17:263).
Students today don’t know much about the option of infant adoption when facing an unplanned pregnancy.
Students are unfamiliar with Louisiana's Safe Haven Law.
Education on adoption can decrease high school dropout rates.
Our curriculum is approved by the Louisiana State Department of Education
